Cross-border Talent Bridge: Attracting Talents to the Öresund Region
Sep 1, 2024 Drawing on a deep understanding of the region’s labour needs, the Cross-border Talent Bridge aims at developing innovative strategies to attract and retain talent within the Life Science and Tech Industry. Copenhagen Capacity supports the project by attracting new qualified talent to the Region by launching an improved version of the Greater Copenhagen Region Career Portal as well as facilitating matchmaking events.Project name: Cross-border Talent Bridge
Purpose: The project addresses the regions (Eastern Denmark and Southern Sweden) ongoing need for qualified Life Science and Tech professionals. The primary goal of the project is to help companies find and retain international talents. The project partners do so by drawing on a deep understanding of the region’s labour needs while developing innovative strategies to attract and retain talent. By addressing the talent shortage on both sides of the Öresund strait, the project brings together key stakeholders to enhance the region’s global appeal to specialised talent.
Project Description:
The "Cross-border Talent Bridge” initiative, part of the Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak EU program, aims to strengthen the supply of skilled professionals in the Life Science and Tech sectors (med-tech, food-tech, and biotech) within the Greater Copenhagen Region. By addressing the talent shortage on both sides of the Öresund strait, the project brings together key stakeholders to enhance the region’s global appeal to specialised talent.
Results: A cross-border cooperation model with shared methods.
Mapping of factors and barriers for talent mobility.
A long-term cross-border talent strategy.
Duration: 1. Sept. 2024 - 31. Aug. 2027.
