New job portal launches to connect international talent with companies in Denmark

Today, A State of Denmark Job Portal launches as part of the Talent to a Green Denmark EU-project led by Copenhagen Capacity. The portal is designed to connect candidates worldwide with hiring companies in Denmark, giving international talent an easier way into the Danish workforce.

For the last five years, Copenhagen Capacity has worked with international talent attraction to the whole of Denmark under the place brand A State of Denmark. First, as part of the Talent to Denmark project, today, it continues in the Talent to a Green Denmark project. The years of efforts have resulted in an extensive database of more than 100,000 qualified international talents interested in a career in Denmark.

A continuous wish from these many candidates has been easier access to and an overview of relevant job offers in Denmark. This wish is now met with the just-launched A State of Denmark Job Portal that lists jobs in Denmark selected explicitly to fit English-speaking professionals—specifically within fields like tech, life science, and green transition engineering.

Portal has automated and AI-driven job-matching

The new portal is not just a job board; it incorporates an advanced automated matching tool to enhance the user experience. This technology pairs job listings with candidates based on skills and preferences, sending the candidates emails when new jobs in Denmark match their wishes.

A unique opportunity for employers and companies in Denmark

Close to 30,000 candidates are already part of the portal, offering participating Danish employers access to a vast group of candidates outside their usual recruitment channels.
Companies seeking global talent are encouraged to join by listing job openings on the new portal. More than 200 companies already showcase their career opportunities on the portal as an add-on to their employer branding and attraction efforts targeting international candidates.
