Hellios opens Nordic HQ in Copenhagen

Jan 15, 2025 Hellios, an information and risk management supplier, is opening its new Nordic headquarters in Copenhagen. This establishment, assisted by Copenhagen Capacity, is a strategic move to support the launch of Hellios’ Financial Services Qualification System platform to the Nordic Financial Sector.

Nordic financial services providers will now benefit from Hellios’ FSQS platform, which simplifies compliance and reduces administrative tasks. Already launched successfully in the UK, Netherlands, and Spain and used by over 6,000 suppliers, the platform’s Nordic launch aims to create a tailored community for financial institutions and suppliers. The platform allows suppliers to complete a single questionnaire for all participating institutions, enhancing efficiency and cutting costs across the financial services ecosystem.

“Launching FSQS in the Nordic region marks a significant milestone in our mission to simplify and enhance supplier management across the financial services sector. We are thrilled to bring this proven system to new markets and look forward to its positive impact on both financial institutions and suppliers alike”.

Phillip Maund, Regional Director Northern Europe, Hellios.

Hellios chose Copenhagen due to its great potential

Hellios selected Copenhagen as its Nordic base due to an already-existing customer base here and the city’s immense potential. Copenhagen’s reputation as a business-friendly city, coupled with its access to a highly skilled workforce and a robust financial sector, made it the ideal location for Hellios’ expansion.

Copenhagen Capacity played an essential role in Hellios’ establishment in the city, providing comprehensive advisory services, including guidance on accounting, funding, talent access, relocation, and office location. Copenhagen Capacity also facilitated connections to relevant networks, clusters, and associations, ensuring Hellios’ new Nordic headquarters started on a strong footing.

“We are proud to have contributed to attracting yet another innovative company to Copenhagen. Hellios' new Nordic headquarters and the introduction of their FSQS platform into the Nordic sector will strengthen the services offered to companies in the entire region”.

Asbjørn Overgaard, CEO of Copenhagen Capacity.

Hellios praised Copenhagen Capacity for their professionalism and the valuable connections they provided. These efforts have positioned the company for long-term success in the Nordic market.
